Our Milan office draws on sophisticated international and local market knowledge to advise clients on domestic and international business matters. As part of a full-service firm, our Italy team regularly assists clients with corporate and financing transactions.
Opportunities for Interns and Trainees
An internship or traineeship at Latham’s Milan office offers you the chance to gain professional experience with some of the best lawyers in the market and to engage in significant domestic and international transactions. Our working teams allow you to collaborate with senior associates and partners daily, learning each step of a matter.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting contracts and ancillary documents in Italian and English
- Performing due diligence, such as reviewing company documentation, highlighting issues, and identifying solutions
- Managing projects, including organizing the implementation, signing, and closing of transactions
How to Apply
We seek talented, ambitious individuals who share our core values and demonstrate knowledge, expertise, soft skills, and emotional intelligence. Ideal candidates possess an Italian law degree (final score of 100/110 or better) and excellent English language skills, as much of our work is conducted in English. Prior experience in corporate or finance law, especially at a major law firm, is appreciated, and an LLM degree is a plus.
